Luxembourg Rail Protocol in Vietnam

Earlier this month RWG Chairman Howard Rosen gave a detailed presentation to the Viettraffic 2008 Conference which took place in Hanoi 15-16 October. The conference also attended by government officials from Vietnam and from other parts of South East Asia as well as professionals from the road and the rail industry.

Vietnam has some extensive plans for expanding and upgrading their rail system including the projects of a high speed link between Hanoi and Ho Chu Minh City which will dramatically reduce travel times from a current 30+ hours it takes to travel between the two major cities in Vietnam.
